Release time: 2022-12-07
In general, livestock and poultry are susceptible to various bacillary diseases, and thus moxicillin is inevitable. In the early stage of pig birth, amoxicillin is used to treat respiratory infections in sows or piglets caused by Pasteurella multocida and Streptococcus suis, and it is also effective against Streptococcus suis and Haemophilus parasuis. Ampicillinum is generally equivalent to a successor of amoxicillin, both molecules are broad-spectrum β-lactam antibiotics, and their bactericidal modes have been approved for use in veterinary medicine. Currently, water-soluble and oil-soluble injection products have been approved for use in pig production, as well as powders for oral administration via feed or water.
