Tilmicosin

Tilmicosin belongs to macrolides. It has obvious antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects, can prevent the occurrence of inflammation. In addition to the antibacterial effect, it can inhibit the replication of PRRS virus, thereby reducing the occurrence of mycoplasma pneumonia, pleuropneumonia, and Haemophilus parasuis infection in nursery pigs. Besides, it has a good effect on respiratory diseases and can control the development of PRRS.

Tilmicosin can also be used to prevent and treat livestock pneumonia (caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella, Mycoplasma, etc.), avian mycoplasma disease and mastitis of lactating animals.
